James C. Jones is a Certified Hazard Control Manager. Emergency Medical Technician and retired Safety and Security Manager for a fortune 200 corporation. He has spent over 40-years teaching survival skills and advocating for family preparedness and self-sufficiency.
He was instrumental in defending and defining the true self-reliance philosophy in the 1980s.
He founded of Live Free USA in 1968, an organization dedicated to the support of preparedness, andself-reliance through public education and group support.
He has written articles for many national preparedness magazines including Prepper & Shooter, Survivalist, Survival Guide, Surplus Today and more and has authored four books from Skyhorse Publications, Advanced Survival, Total Survival, 150 Survival Secrets, and the just published Ultimate Book of Survival Gear.
His Preppers First Aid Handbook that combines EMT protocols, military first aid, and advanced emergency medical techniques is scheduled for publication on early 2022.
